Networking: FUN in FUNctions!
Self-confidence often walks out the door when people walk into a networking event or social. Instead of having the self-confidence to introduce themselves to new people many stay with the person they came with or linger on their own at the food table. Make sure this doesn't happen at your conference, client event or Xmas function.

Let Rachel facilitate the networking for you so everyone mingles, makes conversations easily and has a wonderful time. Everyone will also learn an important set of conversation and networking skills, gain confidence and build their networks. Perfect! Put fun into your functions. People will thank you for it.

Rachel is the greeting, meeting queen of confident networking, a dynamic professional speaker and the author of the nationally acclaimed three CD set, "Be a winner at dinner: How to chat and network with confidence and skill", now in its third edition. It has gained glowing reviews in the media, and been featured in the Sydney Morning Herald, Brisbane Courier Mail, West Australian, Family Circle, ACB Beauty magazine, Canberra Times, and more.

Rachel dazzles when conducting networking talks and sessions. For example, she facilitated the launch of the Women in Business Network for the Small Business Development Corporation, with over 100 people in the Janet Holmes à Court Gallery. (Photos from this event are included on the Confident-Woman speeches pages.) The room was buzzing!

She's also facilitated successful networking events for other high profile organisations, including Ernst & Young, Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Pindan Pty Ltd, the Australasian Cemeteries and Crematoria Association, Challenger TAFE, the University of Western Australia, Department of Environment and Conservation, and more.

She will put the FUN into your function, so your self-confidence soars.
This confidence building talk and facilitation is ideal:
  • For a networking afternoon or evening.
  • To kick-start your event.
  • For your staff before their client networking events so they have the self-confidence and skills to network superbly and impress your clients.
  • For audiences of between 20-200. (Seminars are available for more in-depth training and smaller groups.)
  • For a speech duration of 1.0 - 1.5 hours plus associated drinks and nibbles.
Networking: facilitating the FUN in your FUNctions
Gain confidence in the success of your function. Invite Rachel to host it or speak at it for you.

If you are hosting a client or staff social, a product launch or a community event make sure everyone mingles and has fun at your function. So many functions have the right idea but the wrong strategy: a collection of people are placed in a room together and all guests are presumed to have the confidence techniques to meet, chat and enjoy themselves. They don't.

Instead, there are always people with poor self-esteem who hang around the food table or the wine feeling awkward because they don't know what to do. Guests and staff can feel anxious when seeing huddles of people because they don't know how to break into a group. Others stay with those they already know, even if they're boring, because they lack confidence saying hello to strangers. What kind of networking event is this? A typical one!

Don't let this happen to your guests. Let Rachel facilitate a dazzling event for you and put the FUN back into your functions.

You have two options. She can speak on "How to network with self-confidence" and during her talk have your guests meeting new people and practising the steps for confident networking and conversational success. It's great fun and so helpful. Then drinks and eats can follow.

Or she can host the whole event for you by encouraging everyone to meet and greet from the moment they walk into the room, and then facilitate the networking as a significant part of the event, and even continue coaching when people are drinking and eating afterwards. It's fun, confidence building and so useful. Why would you risk doing it any other way?
Develop everyone's self-confidence as soon as they walk in. Give them the networking skills they need. Leave them all with an important set of conversation and networking skills they can use for the rest of their life. Wow! Xmas and networking functions suddenly seem so much better. Will you be able to cope with the accolades afterwards? Yes!
Gain confidence! Book Rachel now, before she books out.
