Ageing? Secure your self-concept

Do not define your self-concept by your age. If you think getting older is a negative experience and you define your self-concept by your age, you'll feel bad. Secure your self-esteem and self-concept now, whatever your age.

If you take a secure self-esteem and self-concept into your forties, fifties and sixties, your life will be happier. When your self-esteem and self-concept are fragile ageing is harder.

Is it impossible to get a job over 40? Only if your self-esteem and self-concept aren't strong enough. Will you find it difficult to handle redundancy, divorce or ill health? Only if your self-esteem and self-concept weaken.
