Living together isn't as easy as all the romantic novels and fairy tale stories would have us believe, is it? We all know, only too well, that not everyone lives happily ever after.

In fact with the current divorce rates, at least a third, if not a half, of all marriages end in divorce. It seems as though living together for a long time is becoming an impossible dream. Yet it can happen.

Couples can live together for a long time AND BE HAPPY. Even when they are different. Rachel and Mike have proved it. You just need to know what to do. After all, when we look at the celebrity marriages in the magazines and newspapers they don't give us a lot of confidence, do they?

There are many relationship theories around but how do we know whether the academics live them in their own marriages? Also, if you check out some marriage guidance counselors you'll find some on their third or fourth marriages and others who aren't even married at all. Others are excellent, but it's hard to tell the difference when you are want good advice, isn't it?

So here is something different, something you can trust. It's down-to-earth and worthwhile marriage advice, from a husband and wife with a happy and long marriage. Rachel and Mike Green have been brave enough to invite you behind the scenes of their successful 33 year marriage to hear an unscripted conversation about what makes it work and what they get up to! And it isn't necessarily what you'd expect.

They are feeling a bit vulnerable about being so public because they are usually not ones to seek the limelight - well Mike certainly isn't anyway! He's a computer programmer who normally in an office all day talking to a machine rather than behind a microphone. However, he put in a sterling performance just for you. Rachel, well she is the opposite - an outgoing people person who loves to chat and who does it for a living, giving speeches and running workshops. She, like many women, comes home ready to talk while Mike is ready to retreat!

And there are plenty more potential clashes ... he's punctual, she's not. He's a detailed factual person, she's a big picture dreamer. He's practical and literal, she's into feelings and emotions. But to find out who the slob is you'll have to listen to the CDs!
